Live monthly group meetings to support your professional practice.

These informal 90-minute supervision sessions provide an opportunity to support ourselves and each other in this diverse professional field. They are for anyone currently practicing in any form of outdoor-based therapy, and for those interesting in developing a practice or programme.

Working from actual scenarios from our own real-world personal and professional experiences we explore challenges like:

  • managing risk;
  • creating boundaries;
  • working with projections and unhealthy coping mechanisms;
  • ecological anxiety;
  • safeguarding;
  • designing activities;
  • activism as healing;
  • equipment choice;
  • dealing with bad weather, challenging conditions and outdoor emergencies.

These sessions will help you make your work safe, effective and deeply rewarding for both you and our clients. Maximum 10 participants per group.

Sessions take place at 0800 am (NZST - GMT+12) on the last Friday of every month
